Tour de Shopping – The walking route takes you to Lahti’s most interesting shops, restaurants and shopping centers!

Tour de Shopping Lahti by Local4U is a 3 km long walking route that passes through Lahti’s most interesting shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a shopping center. From the Lahti Railway Station, you can start the route with, for example, breakfast at the Station Master’s cafe, continuing along the Lahti Town Hall, bypassing the Lahti Town Hall, along the Rautatiankatu (the so-called Lahti shopping street) all the way to Hämeenkatu. The route takes you to Lahti’s market square, from where via Vapauden- and Rauhankatu to the modern Malski area.

During your shopping holiday, you should visit the Lahti Museum of Visual Arts in Malva, and in the historic building you can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Malskin Bistro, or simply enjoy art and brewing culture. On the route, you will also get to know the stores of the Trio shopping center and, among other things, Lahti’s main street Aleksanterinkatu. For a refreshing drink, glass of wine or beer, you can stop by Teerenpeli or Cafe Olavi in Lanu aukio and choose a place to have dinner from the wide selection of restaurants in the city center before going home.
