Ostrobothnia’s pearl Vaasa, where history meets the present, nature invites adventure and culture comes alive!
City Tour de Vaasa is a 3.4 km long route from Vaasa travel center through the center towards the beach. The route starts at the travel center, from where we head to Vaasa’s market hall. From here, the journey continues to Liisa Koske’s shop, where you can find tasty treats! The DoorHome showroom is located on the edge of the square, where you can get help with decorating and renovation needs. At this point in the journey, the coffee tooth is starting to sink in, so let’s head to Aveny Cafe. Products made on site are served here in a wonderful environment.
After a coffee break, the route goes to the Vaasa art gallery, where works by changing artists are on display. Next to the Art Gallery is Vaasa Church, which represents the English neo-Gothic style. If you are interested in modern art, next on the route is the Kuntsi Museum of Modern Art. Hietasaari beach club, which is open in summer, offers Caribbean-inspired food as well as SUP boards and kayaks for rent. As meal time approaches, at the end of the route you will find the restaurant HEJM, which serves modern home cooking with wonderful sea views.
A city where tradition and the future come together strongly – Vaasa, where stories live!
