Loviisa, a lovely little town by the sea!
Loviisa is a Finnish city founded in 1745, located in Uusimaa, on the south coast, only approx. 50 km from Porvoo and approx. 90 km from Helsinki. About 15,000 people live in Loviisa and it is a lovely, bilingual small town, where Swedish and Finnish are spoken fairly equally. In the summer, Loviisa is a lively tourist town, but in all seasons Loviisa is a day trip worth visiting.

City Tour de Loviisa starts in the city center, at the big church, and goes through Loviisa’s atmospheric streets all the way to the waterfront, where you can admire historical sites and enjoy the wonderful seascape.
