Local food at Vesijärvenranta!
We make premium fast food based on artisan. Fast food is often one-sided and not so healthy, with an emphasis on burgers and hard fats. We are launching a new offering taking into account time trends and health. The concept and recipe of the crane have been developed by the top factors in the food world in Finland, e.g. Hans Välimäki and Juha Sinkkonen, Nosturi’s restaurant manager.
You can also order food in Restaurant Nosturi in drive-in style by car and in open water also by boat.
On the roof of the restaurant you will find the Skybar terrace, where you can enjoy food and drink in the magnificent scenery of Lake Vesijärvi!
We want to promote a change in food culture by making products from better and higher quality raw materials. Also, for young people to expand their own eating habits. The big value is the ease of picking up a quality dose according to your home, workplace or enjoying on site.
What taken into account
Restaurant Nosturi works in the spirit of Support your local, we want to support as much locality and responsibility as possible. We support recycling and want to be involved in the protection of Vesijärvi, youth work and projects. In the restaurant we use wood and natural materials with the environment in mind.
Responsibility is reflected in everything we do, e.g. packaging materials and domestic high-quality raw materials where possible. From food raw materials e.g. Fish & Chips are made from lake fish. Big values are the healthiness and versatility of the food.
Restaurant furniture has been acquired through recycling (eg. Asko and Isku). In addition, all surfaces were treated before use with Nanox coating, which is a self-defining coating solution.
Restaurant Nosturia is run by Prescott Oy, a Lahti company that currently owns the property. The company’s CEO is Timo Soini.
