City Tour de Mikkeli
The best attractions in the Mikkeli city center can be found along the City Tour de Mikkeli route! The 4.1 km long route starts from Mikkeli railway station and continues through the idyllic Mikkeli harbor, where you can pop in for coffee at Cafe Satama & Bistro during the summer. After the harbor, you can admire the magnificent scenery of Lake Saimaa and Mikkeli from the Naisvuori observation tower from a height of 27 meters. Along the route you can also see Mikkeli Cathedral, the City Hall and the Headquarters Museum, which served as the army’s headquarters during the wars. Stop to buy fresh delicacies at the Market Hall and enjoy a tasty lunch at Restaurant Vino, for example. The route is ready in Google Maps, where it is easy to follow, but you can also deviate from the route as you wish.
