The traditional Lappeenranta market square in the city center is a big part of the city’s history. It is easily accessible and is surrounded by short-term parking. The market has been selling popular local delicacies, vety and atomi, since the 1960s. Today, they are available all year round from several market stalls and distinctive coffee breweries.
