The Kuja is pure Lahti. Truly casual street food restaurant. Come and check the place. It is a 21st-century hot-dog stand inside. No one has painted the walls with a brush. No one drinks beer from glasses. If you want to lie on the couch, then lie down. Here, everyone is allowed to be what they want. You have to experience this!
The Kuja is a unique city-centre restaurant between the two main streets of Lahti – Aleksanterinkatu and Vapaudenkatu. It can’t be called boring or ordinary, it is Lahti! The Kuja’s offerings and services combine speed, ease and experientialism. In the menu, you can see and taste street food, although with a different twist. Street food from Lahti is known to be a hot-dog stand, but Kuja will bring a hot-dog stand to 2019.

We only accept bookings for more than 6 people. You can book a table at the Kuja to make sure you can sit with your party on busy evenings. We are not a traditional a la carte restaurant, but rather a street food bar. If you are planning a romantic candlelit dinner, long-term dining or a festive anniversary, we recommend making a reservation at Restaurant Trattoria. In the Kuja, the moment of dining may be partly self-directed on busy evenings.
