In the mornings, next to the Lahti Travel Center, a healthy and rich breakfast buffet is prepared in the Café Asemapäällikkö. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 8 to 11 and on Saturdays from 9 to 12, and the price for breakfast is EUR 9.50. Asemapäällikkö has A-licenses, so in addition to a festive breakfast, you can enjoy even a glass of bubbly.

Clean ingredients, as well as product quality and good taste, are important at Asemapäällikkö. Special diets are also taken into account in the selection.

The history of the station manager’s house dates back to 1912, since then this a rare wooden Art Nouveau house has stood strong alongside the Lahti railways. Over the years, in the house has live several station managers and their families, and even today it exudes homely warmth.

In June 2017, a new café in the Station Manager’s House opened its doors, and since then, the house has smelled of fresh coffee, and the display case has been full of goodies. In the spring of 2020, the station manager’s house changed entrepreneur, but there is still the same atmosphere.

Asemapäällikkö is located next to Lahti Travel Center. We can be conveniently reached by public transports or on foot. There is plenty of parking space around the travel centre and the parking garage is serviced by a lift directly to the main door of the house.
