Helsinki is the capital of Finland and the provincial center of Uusimaa on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland. The city was founded in 1640 and became the capital of the Grand Duchy of Finland in 1812.

Ateneum Art Museum
Opposite Helsinki Train Station is Finland’s most famous art museum. The changing success of the exhibitions opens up new perspectives for the visitor to the past and the future. In addition to exhibitions, the Ateneum hosts monthly workshops, lectures, guided tours and clubs.

National Museum
An oasis of culture and history in the middle of Helsinki. The main exhibition presents the stages of Finns from prehistory to the present day. Löyly

Suomenlinna sea fortress
The magnificent Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 18th century, a ferry ride from the center of Helsinki. Suomenlinna has six museums, restaurants and cafés. Guided tours are organized throughout the year.

Vallisaari
