In addition to accommodation, Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos offers a rich breakfast buffet, unique restaurants and bars, and a snow sauna with outdoor hot tub. The facilities in the hotel area and Lehtojärvi Beach View provide a great setting for organizing events.
Arctic SnowHotel is located in the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland, in the winter capital of Northern Finland, Rovaniemi. The hotel area is about 26 km from the city center; Sinetä in the village on the shores of Lake Lehtojärvi. Arrival is easy with the hotel’s shuttle, taxi or private car.

There are two types of unique places to stay.
Snow Hotel (from 15.12.)
The 70-bed snow hotel is one of the largest in Scandinavia. The stunningly beautiful building is carved differently every year. The walls and furniture surfaces of the unique rooms are covered with ice art and light works. The temperature in the rooms is 0-5 °, but the sleeping bags and reindeer soles for cold conditions are warm and comfortable.
Glass-roofed Iglu
In Iglu, you fall asleep to the glow of the stars and northern lights comfortably under a warm blanket. The igloos are carefully thermally insulated so that the frost does not surprise the visitor even on the coldest night. The igloo beds are motorized and you can easily adjust your position optimally for either sleeping or looking at the sky. Igluja has 39 offering 127 beds.

Tastes of Lapland on your plate – Food from an open fire, dishes from ice
Although the Snow Hotel is located in its own peace outside the city, there is no need to worry about delicacies. The three restaurants and the three-course dinner menu are characterized by tasteful and traditional cooking methods. Beautiful dishes on the icy table in the Ice Restaurant, and frozen glasses in the Ice Bar!
Ice Restaurant (from 15.12)
At the Snow Hotel’s Ice Restaurant, you can enjoy a delicious dinner either as a mere restaurant or as a guest of the hotel. The ice restaurant is also suitable as a dinner place for larger groups.
Ice bar (from 15.12)
At the ice bar you order your drink on ice – and not on ice! Frozen glass brings a whole new dimension to drinking and the experience is second to none. The ice walls of the bar also get time for a special but awesome sound reproduction.
Kota restaurant
Kotaravintola is located on the beach of the hotel area, right next to the beach sauna and has a total of 100 seats. A blazing fire creates a magical atmosphere in a small home. The specialty of the Kotar restaurant is its mouth-watering salmon.
Lumikartano
The restaurant serves individual guests with breakfast, we also organize dinners for groups.
Sky Bar
The Sky bar is located in the same building as Kotaravintola. Downstairs there is a lounge-style bar serving local cocktails as well as other drinks and snacks. In the evening, when the sky is clear, we recommend moving upstairs to the Sky bar where we hope you can see the northern lights through the glass roof!

Relax in the cold heat – you will not be cold in the snow sauna
Even the most experienced Finnish saunas seem to have a snow sauna! The sauna experience is a surprising combination of moist steam and cold snow walls. There is also a more traditional log sauna and outdoor hot tubs in the hotel’s courtyard. The sauna reservation also includes the opportunity to try a cold water pool with a water level of 2 degrees.
A Finnish Sauna
The sauna building “Snowflake” is located in the hotel area and includes several small saunas that are the size of a traditional Finnish sauna and serve both visitors and hotel guests when the sauna is booked for private use.
Snow Sauna
The snow sauna is built of snow and ice. Only the sauna benches are made of wood. The moist steam in the stove keeps the temperature high, even if the snowy walls are glowing cold.
Outdoor hot tub
Enjoy the magical equation; cool air in a warm hot tub! In the outdoor hot tub you can admire the northern lights or the magnificent starry sky of Lapland.
