Kolari is a Finnish municipality located in Western Lapland, on the Swedish border
Kolari has a diverse Ylläs nature tourism center, Teurauoma, Europe’s largest marshland, the Tornio-Muonionjoki river and salmon on the Swedish-Finnish border.

Husky Ranch Lapland
Husky Ranch Lapland is a family-owned husky farm that specializes in unique husky adventures for small groups. Husky Ranch Lapland is located next to the resorts of Ylläs and Levi, as well as Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
Local History Museum
The Kolari municipality’s local history museum is in Sieppijärvi on the Rova farm. The farm has a total of seven historic wooden buildings and an ancient path opened in 2005. The museum is open during the summer season.
Kellokas Nature Center
The Nature Centre’s free Meän elämää exhibition introduces local nature and culture. The nature center also has changing art exhibitions and the Savottamuseo.
Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park
Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, which spreads on the lands of four municipalities in Fell-Lapland, is one of Finland’s most popular national parks. The national park’s diverse hiking trails easily lead from top to top and atmospheric campfire sites.
Sport Resort Ylläs
Sport Resort Ylläs is Finland’s largest full-service ski resort in Ylläsjärvi, Kolari. The ski resort has the largest elevation differences and the most slopes in Finland. The specialty is the sauna gondola, on which you can experience a wonderful and memorable experience. There are dozens of different restaurants in the area.
